Through individual pledges and participation, and through the support of many generous corporate sponsors, The Oktoberfest Run has been and will continue to be a successful annual fund raising event. It is our objective to organize a fun, safe and healthy athletic event for the citizens of Waterloo Region and beyond, while maintaining a community responsibility to the Hospitals of Kitchener-Waterloo. The Grand River Hospital Foundation supports and serves the mission and patient care needs of the Grand River Hospital. GRHF raises funds for capital equipment, renovations, education and research. The St. Mary's General Hospital Foundation raises funds to help provide equipment and facilities for St. Mary's General Hospital. St. Mary s is a community of caring and compassion with over eighty years of dedicated service to our community, specializing in cardiac care, respiratory disease, and surgery.
